Welcome to the base of operations of Mexafari, the Ranch ‘El Durazno’.
Situated in the heart of the Sierra Madres, a little east of the highway, 60 km south of Sahuaripa and 40 km north of Yecora is the Ranch, El Durazno. This semi remote area is home to an abundance of high caliber Whitetail (Coues) deer, enormous Wild Turkey (Gould’s) in the higher elevations and Javelin (Wild Pig) which roam freely throughout the vast expanse of the ranch.
The ranch has been in the Monge family for over six generations, through which they have nurtured and lived in harmony with the flora and fauna that exists there, so that now it thrives abundantly, creating a prime location for your next hunting safari.
The unique topography presents its extremes, from the overwhelming panoramic view of the entire ranch and much of the surrounding area from its highest point of elevation, over 7000 feet above sea level, to the depths of the sheltered valleys nestled below, here one realizes this is as close to nature as it is possible to be.
The modest ranch house is a hub of activity whether taking care of the daily chores or preparing hunters for the field, there is always something taking place. Not only is it clean and comfortable, but it is fully serviced with electricity provided by a generator and hot and cold running water. No matter where you’re from, you will feel welcome and at home.
An hour away from the ranch is a lake noted for Bass, giving an added attraction for a visit and the option of a combination with any of the hunts offered.
MEXAFARI wants you to take advantage of an opportunity to hunt Mexico this season and is presently taking bookings.
