Dove Hunts
Sonora is known for its beautiful birds. You can
shoot Mourning Dove, White Wing Dove and if you are lucky enough the
Red Billed Pigeon.
We choose the best spots
with water bodies and muddy ponds, also, a month before dove season
starts, we began throwing sorghum at the fields, to create the
perfect scenario for doves to fly in and assure a great success.
Hunters stay in a nice
hotel here in Hermosillo,
wake up early and have some breakfast. Right after it, around 7
o’clock, they head to the field which is about 20 to 40 minute
drive. They will be provided with water bottle, drinks, beer and of
course, their own bird boy. After the morning shoot, hunters will be
drive to eat and relax for while and get ready for the afternoon
shoot, starting at 3:30 and ending around 6:30. At night, we take
them to the bests restaurants in town to have a wonderful dinner and
of course, hunters get to selectthe food of their choice.
